Jewish Genealogy
Restoring Memory and Family Roots
Jewish genealogical research requires specialized knowledge, experience, and the ability to work with dispersed and often difficult-to-locate historical sources. As a historian specializing in Jewish studies, with working knowledge of Yiddish and Hebrew and many years of professional experience in institutions dedicated to Jewish history and culture, I bring a unique set of skills and research expertise to every project.
I help clients trace Jewish ancestors and relatives by analyzing archival records, vital records, census data, community documentation, and other sources related to Jewish life in Poland. In many cases, it is possible to reconstruct family histories disrupted by the dramatic events of the twentieth century, identify previously unknown relatives, and enrich family narratives passed down through generations with newly discovered and documented facts.
I approach every project with the utmost care and respect for family memory. My goal is not only to uncover facts, but also to restore the stories of people who, for years, have existed only as names preserved in historical records.
